The main lodge and entrance building comprises a private lounge and bar, wooden viewing decks, boardroom, wine cellar, health spa, curio shop and both indoor and open-air (Boma) dining area.

The bedroom and bathroom areas are air-conditioned and overhead fans cool the bedroon. Sabi Sands accommodation at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is in 6 ultra luxurious suites with en-suite bathroom, outdoor and indoor shower, courtyard, and lounge with fireplace, wooden viewing deck, patio and private plunge pool.

The suites at Ivory Lodge are 165 metres square in size and are positioned at least 20 metres apart, being linked to all areas by raised wooden walkways.

The entrance area is separate from the main lodge in order to ensure that guests arriving and departing have no impact on the other overnight guests at Ivory Lodge.

The new premier wine cellar adds a new element to your safari experience. Guests are welcome to enjoy a presentation and wine tasting in the cellar, which holds some of South Africa's most outstanding wines. These delicious wines can be ordered to accompany your dinner.
